Social Sport still on through Red Setting

24th January, 2022

Kia ora all Social Sporters!

We are now in the red setting of the Covid Traffic Light System. Outdoor Social Sport is still going ahead despite this as our numbers fall within the limit of 25 per gathering (field). In order for us to continue delivering a safe environment we need you and your teams to continue following a few guidelines. They are:

  • Please ensure your teams DO NOT exceed the player limit (10 for football, 12 for touch).
  • If your team has any spectators ensure they are at least 2m away from the fields at all times and part of their own gathering that is less than 25 people.
  • Stay at least 2m away from the field when your team is not playing. Only enter the field when the previous teams have completely left.
  • Be sure to scan in using the Covid QR codes at each field BEFORE playing
  • Socially distance from others you don't know when walking to and from the fields. Use hand sanitiser before and after matches. Mask wearing while not playing is strongly encouraged.

By continuing to follow these guidelines we can ensure we are creating an enjoyable and safe environment for all!

See you all out there for the last 5 weeks of Outdoor Social Sport!

Change of Field Locations for Outdoor Social Sport Football

10th December, 2021

We are pleased to announce some changes to the field locations for fields 4 and 5 for social sport football. We are doing this to preserve the football training fields. Field 4 will now be on the south side of field 3 while field 5 will now be located in front of the Pavilion and close to Gate 3. These changes will take effect immediately and will start with next week's matches.
